Christmas Fundraising at TCE

Many of TCE's residents and employees have taken the time to create works of art and treats of delight to place for sale in hopes of raising funds for their respective programs this Christmas season. The outcomes are absolutely wonderful. Riverbend Community Day Program has created lovely hand warmers for $5 per pair and neck warmers for $15 each. There is an option add essential oils including Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Pine, Orange, Lemongrass or Lavender for $1 each. Riverbend Community Day Program is also offering Holiday Cookie Platters at a cost of $8 per tray. Each tray holds between 12-16 cookies. They are also offering Holiday Cupcakes at $1 each with a minimum order of 6. These are fantastic for Holiday gatherings or even to snack on while you prepare your lists and check them twice. Fresh Air by the Water

Colonnade Day Program's Quinn Satellite program strives to provide the residents with as many opportunities as possible. They regularly participate in many activities offered by Colonnade Day Program such as flyer preparation and delivery, music therapy, and swimming to name a few. The Quinn Satellite program also ensures that the participants maximize all opportunities for fresh air and exercise. They often go on long walks and break for a picnic lunch.  For as long as the weather cooperates you will often find this group in open natural areas such as nature trails, beaches, and parks. If you happen to come across them, be sure to give them a wave and hello. Here is a picture of Gavin during a walk around Petrie Island enjoying the cool crisp air.
