I Think I'll Stay Awhile

According to Workopolis job hopping is the new normal.  People switch jobs because they discover a new passion or they're borded or because of a setback.  While Canada is experienciing this employment phenomenon we here at TCE are honouring Karen Walker, one of our employees.  She's been with us for 20 years.  But that's not so unusual for us. The people that work for TCE are brimming with passion and are never bored.  How can they be?  Each day presents itself with a new challenge and a new gift. Are there setbacks? Yes but TCE employees are perserverent and creative - setbacks beware! So let's celebrate Karen's 20 years and thank her and the rest of TCE's staff for bucking the job hopping trend.

Float Like A Butterfly

Think about the last time you visited a museum or a sugar bush.  How about the zoo or an aquarium? Isn't it about time you went on a field trip?  The folks at the Riverbend Community Day Program and the Wilson Community Day Program thought so.  They decided it was high time for something fun and informative.  Yes field trips are fun but they are about gathering facts people! So they headed to Montreal to see Butterfly Go Free at the Biodome. Not only did they see butterflies but they also saw some Japanese plants and cacti.   That's a lot of fact gathering! Who needs Google when you can take a field trip?
